A 17-year-old boy from Watermoor, Cirencester, has been issued an anti-social behaviour injunction (ASBI) to curb his violent and disruptive actions in the community. Alfie Edgell was handed the one-year injunction at Cheltenham Youth Court earlier this month, restricting him from swearing and associating with a specific individual.
The court described Edgell as a “significant risk of harm” after finding that his behaviour had caused alarm, harassment, and distress to the public. His conduct included threats of violence, prompting the judge to impose the strict order effective until June 6, 2026. Any violation could lead to his arrest.
Acting Inspector Philippa Moore from the Cotswold Neighbourhood Policing team stated, “Edgell has been repeatedly warned about his actions. Despite support, he continues to engage in anti-social behaviour that negatively impacts the community. This injunction aims to safeguard residents and improve their quality of life.”

Police have made Edgell’s photo public to encourage the community to report any breaches of the order. Those who witness any violations are urged to contact officers by calling 101 or by submitting a report online.
