Police in Gloucestershire are investigating reports of a suspicious man selling knives in the town of Wotton-under-Edge. Locals have reported seeing the individual multiple times, and authorities are currently reviewing CCTV footage to assist their enquiries.
The latest sighting occurred on July 9, around 1 pm, on Market Street. The man is described as stocky, approximately 5ft 10in tall, with grey hair, a goatee beard, and a neatly groomed full moustache. On this occasion, he was wearing a smart white short-sleeved shirt and black shorts.
Gloucestershire Police shared details of the incident on the Your Community Alerts Gloucestershire website, stating that this individual seems to return to the area every few months. Police are collaborating closely with the town council and local businesses to gather video evidence.
