Stacey Solomon recently touched her fans’ hearts with a heartfelt update on her beloved dog, Teddy, after a frightening health scare earlier this year. The Loose Women presenter, busy filming the new series of Sort Your Life Out, took a moment on June 24 to share news about Teddy’s condition and progress.
Fans may remember Stacey’s plea for support in April when Teddy suddenly became seriously ill. During that time, Stacey revealed that Teddy, who is very close to her family, had lost the use of his hind legs and was diagnosed with a ruptured disc and a severely worn spine caused by a pre-existing condition they had been unaware of.
Despite worrying news that Teddy might never fully recover, Stacey and her husband, Joe Swash, were determined to give him the best care possible. Following surgery, Stacey expressed hope and prayed that Teddy would pull through and enjoy the best quality of life.

Thankfully, Teddy made it through the operation and initial recovery. In her update, Stacey shared that after his first vet check-up post-surgery, it’s likely Teddy won’t regain feeling in his legs and will require ongoing assistance with urination, walks, and physiotherapy.
However, the vet was impressed by how happy Teddy appeared and how well Stacey and Joe have managed his care. Proud of their dedication, Stacey happily shared these positive developments with her followers.
Most recently, Stacey offered an uplifting glimpse into Teddy’s current state. She posted a photo on her Instagram Story showing Teddy relaxed alongside their other dog, Peanut, noting that Teddy had enjoyed a grooming session with a carer from Hopefield Animal Sanctuary.
“Happy Tuesday,” she wrote. “He’s doing so well with his physio and still such an amazing boy, even though he can’t use his legs anymore.” Her message resonated deeply with fans who have followed Teddy’s journey with fondness and support.
