Police have uncovered a suspected drugs laboratory in an industrial unit near Bitton, South Gloucestershire. Authorities believe that both Class A and Class B substances, including cocaine and mephedrone, were being manufactured at the location.
The South West Regional Organised Crime Unit (SWROCU) led the operation, resulting in the arrest of six individuals in the early hours of Thursday, March 26. All six have been charged with conspiracy to supply Class A drugs and conspiracy to produce a Class B controlled substance.
The suspects have been remanded in custody and are scheduled to appear at Bristol Magistrates’ Court on Saturday, March 28.

Police continue to conduct an extensive search of a large industrial unit on Bath Road, with investigations expected to last several days.
