Sleep Habit Michael Mosley Said Made ‘Biggest Difference’ to His Health

Recently, the team managing his social media presence shared a previously recorded video in which he discussed his “Just One Thing” podcast.

In the clip, Dr Mosley explained that amidst various health tips, one change stood out for him personally: practicing slow, deep breathing. He described the method known as “4-2-4,” which involves breathing in over four seconds, holding the breath for two seconds, and then exhaling over four seconds. He noted, “If you do that for a minute or so, you’ll feel everything calm down, and it’s particularly effective in the middle of the night.”

The “Just One Thing” podcast regularly featured Dr Mosley offering straightforward health advice designed to be easily incorporated into daily life. The accompanying caption shared on social media emphasised how his series encouraged small, manageable adjustments that lead to significant health and wellbeing improvements.
