A sixth individual has been arrested following a serious incident near Bristol Airport on the A38. The事件 was reported to Avon and Somerset Police at approximately 8:25 a.m. on Saturday, February 21.
The incident began with a multi-vehicle crash which escalated into a confrontation, resulting in two people being assaulted and injured. Five men were initially arrested on suspicion of attempted murder on the M5 northbound in Gloucestershire. The latest arrest is on suspicion of conspiring to commit robbery and wounding with intent. All six remain in police custody as investigations continue.
Two men injured in the confrontation are currently receiving hospital treatment; thankfully, neither is in life-threatening condition.

Traffic disruption was minimal but noticeable near the airport on the A38 as emergency services responded swiftly to the incident, and they remain on scene.
Superintendent Jen Appleford reassured the community, stating, “We understand this event will have caused concern, but we do not believe there is any wider risk to the public. The individuals involved are known to each other, come from outside our force area, and this appears to be an isolated incident.”
