Gloucester’s Kingsholm Stadium is set to come alive this summer as live concerts make a much-anticipated return after a five-year hiatus. The Kingsholm Summer Series kicks off on Saturday, June 27, with the Ministry of Sound Classical Orchestra, a 31-piece ensemble delivering a unique orchestral take on iconic dance hits.
The excitement continues on June 28 when renowned Welsh singer Sir Tom Jones takes the stage for the first time in nearly a decade. Known worldwide for classics like “Sex Bomb” and “It’s Not Unusual,” Sir Tom previously thrilled sold-out crowds at Kingsholm in 2012 and 2017. With a career spanning over 60 years and more than 100 million records sold, he brings a powerhouse of talent and timeless hits to Gloucester.
This revival of major concerts marks a significant milestone for Kingsholm Stadium and Gloucester’s cultural scene. Freemans Event Partners will manage food, beverage, and curated fan zones to ensure an unforgettable experience for attendees.
