On the evening of June 3, Beckham shared a video on Instagram showing him caring for his chickens at the Grade II-listed estate he shares with his wife, Victoria Beckham. Located in the picturesque Oxfordshire village of Great Tew, the elegant property was bought in 2016 for £6.15 million. The couple often share updates about their cosy rural lifestyle, with Victoria once humorously teasing David over his late-night readings of “Keeping Chickens for Dummies.”
The effort has clearly paid off. In the latest video, Beckham climbs inside the chicken coop in search of eggs, proudly displaying them to the camera. He then wanders through his garden, appreciating the lush potted plants and radiant flowers in his well-maintained greenhouse, his smile revealing pure contentment in his “happy place.”

Adding to the celebratory mood, the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce has announced that Sir David will receive his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on June 12 at 6819 Hollywood Boulevard. Victoria Beckham and actor Tom Cruise are set to speak at the ceremony, where Beckham will be honoured with the 2,849th star.
Ana Martinez, producer of the Walk of Fame, expressed the significance of this recognition: “David Beckham’s star in the Sports Entertainment category comes at a fitting time as the US prepares to host the FIFA World Cup. This accolade precedes the upcoming 2026 FIFA Men’s World Cup, co-hosted by the US, Mexico, and Canada. Throughout a 20-year career, Beckham became the first Englishman to win league titles in England, Spain, the United States, and France. Since retiring, he has taken on roles including co-owner of Inter Miami, which claimed its first MLS Cup last year.
