Serious Injuries After Pedestrian-Car Collision in Churchdown

A man in his 70s has been seriously injured following a collision with a car on Cheltenham Road East in Churchdown. The incident occurred around 4:40 pm on Sunday, 14 December, prompting emergency services to respond swiftly.

The injured pedestrian was transported to Southmead Hospital in Bristol, where he is currently in a serious condition. Gloucestershire Police have closed Cheltenham Road East between Innsworth Road and Pirton Lane to facilitate ongoing investigations.

Officers and collision investigators remain at the scene, and authorities are urging anyone who witnessed the incident or has relevant dashcam footage to get in touch via the police website, referencing incident 291 of 14 December.
