Search efforts are ongoing for a 38-year-old man named Frazer, who is believed to be travelling across Gloucestershire on foot. Frazer was last seen leaving an address in Ashton Keynes, near Cirencester, in the early hours of the morning on 6 September.
Since then, various reported sightings have been made, stretching from Cirencester to the Forest of Dean. According to Oona, a long-time friend of Frazer’s, “There have been two possible sightings in Lydney, Forest of Dean, on Monday evening. Another sighting was reported near Over Farm, on the A40 into Gloucester, at around 5.30pm on Tuesday. More recently, there were reports near Chesterton Farm at approximately 8.30am and at Cirencester College around 9am on Wednesday.”
Friends believe Frazer is travelling on foot, likely without a mobile phone or bank cards. Wiltshire Police have described him as wearing a green shirt, brown or khaki shorts or trousers, and black shoes. He has several distinctive tattoos. He may be carrying a small blue rucksack on his front and a larger rucksack on his back. Oona also noted that Frazer might be wearing sunglasses and have a hood up.

Frazer went missing from Ashton Keynes, where his girlfriend lives. It is believed he left her house in distress. Oona explained, “He’s currently in a bit of a mental health crisis but is not considered dangerous.”
Frazer has strong connections to Gloucester, where he has lived for 15 years, as well as ties to Cornwall and Bristol. However, given he is thought to be travelling on foot, it is unlikely he has journeyed far beyond Gloucestershire.
Oona emphasised the support network surrounding Frazer, saying, “I’ve known him for 20 years. He is an ex-sailor; many of us served together, so there are many people involved in the search. We’re like a family. There are lots of people who care deeply about him and are committed to finding him.”
Wiltshire Police are urging local residents to check any CCTV or Ring Doorbell footage from around 2.30am on 6 September in Ashton Keynes, as this may provide clues about Frazer’s direction of travel. Anyone with information is asked to call 999, quoting log 51 of 6 September.
