School Dominates Art Contest with Year Sevens Sweeping the Podium

Fairfield High School has once again claimed top honors in the city-wide “Colours of Nature: Embracing Diversity” art contest, securing all the leading awards in the year seven category for the second year in a row.

Organised by Victoria Methodist Church on Park Street, the competition invited students to submit artwork of any medium and size, all inspired by the theme of the diverse natural world. While entries came from various year groups, it was the talented year seven cohort who swept the podium, showcasing remarkable creativity and skill.

Olive took home first prize in the secondary category, earning a £50 voucher, while Luca secured second place with a £40 voucher. Herbie completed the clean sweep by winning third place and a £30 voucher. Additionally, year ten students Ismay and Martha received ‘Highly Commended’ accolades, each rewarded with £20 vouchers.
