Royal Family’s Heartfelt Father’s Day Tribute to Prince William

On Father’s Day, June 15, the children of the Prince of Wales offered a heartfelt tribute to their father, Prince William, through a touching message and new photos shared on social media. Prince George (11), Princess Charlotte (10), and Prince Louis (7) expressed their love with a simple yet profound three-word note: “We love you!”

The post featured two charming photographs capturing precious family moments. In the first, the prince is seated with his children in a serene garden setting, posing for a warm family portrait. The second photo shows a playful scene of William wrestling with his children on the grass; George and Louis are pinning their dad down while Charlotte laughs gleefully, showcasing the close bond they share.

Kensington Palace confirmed that the images were taken earlier this year in Norfolk by professional photographer Josh Shinner. The accompanying message from the children read: “Happy Father’s Day, Papa (before and after!)” and was signed with their initials, “G, C & L,” alongside a sparkling heart emoji.

The Royal Family further extended their Father’s Day wishes through the official Instagram account, honoring fathers worldwide. Highlights included a nostalgic photo of the late Prince Philip swinging with a young Charles and Princess Anne, as well as an image of Camilla with her father, Major Bruce Shand, captured on her wedding day to Prince Charles in 2005.

This Father’s Day tribute came just a day after King Charles’s 76th birthday celebration on June 14, marked by an eco-conscious flypast by the Red Arrows during the Trooping the Colour ceremony. Amid the festive occasion, the Royal Family paused to remember the victims of the recent Air India plane disaster. King Charles led a moment of silence and requested that senior royals and officers wear black armbands as a mark of respect.

The somber tribute honored the 241 passengers and crew lost in the tragedy, including over 50 British citizens and around 30 individuals on the ground. Senior royals, including the Prince of Wales, the Princess Royal, and the Duke of Edinburgh—all colonels of various regiments—wore black armbands during the ceremony.

Meanwhile, the younger royals brought joy to the public by making a rare appearance, riding in a carriage alongside their mother, Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, delighting monarchy fans and onlookers alike.
