Thomas Kingston, husband to Lady Gabriella Kingston—daughter of Prince and Princess Michael of Kent and cousin to King Charles—passed away on February 25, 2024, leaving behind an estate valued at nearly £1 million. The 45-year-old was found deceased at his parents' home in the Cotswolds from a gunshot wound, with the firearm discovered nearby.
An inquest held in December 2024 revealed that Mr. Kingston had experienced adverse reactions to prescribed mental health medication. Senior Coroner Katy Skerrett recorded a narrative conclusion regarding the circumstances surrounding his death.
Despite dying intestate—without a will—probate documents recently released confirmed the total value of Mr. Kingston’s estate at £939,429, with a net value of £664,429 after liabilities. On March 17, 2024, the High Court of Justice officially appointed Lady Gabriella Kingston as the administrator of the estate. The couple had married in 2019 at Windsor Castle and reside in London’s Notting Hill.
