Lady Tatiana Mountbatten, a second cousin of King Charles III, has proudly revealed the birth of her second child, a baby boy named Auberon, through endearing photographs shared on social media.
The daughter of George Mountbatten, Marquess of Milford Haven, and Sarah Walker, Tatiana joyfully announced the news on Instagram, where she posted heartwarming images featuring herself, baby Auberon, her husband Alexander ‘Alick’ Dru, and their daughter Elodie, who was born in September 2023.
The family, now a foursome, spent the past month enjoying country life in Hampshire instead of their usual London abode.

In an emotional Instagram post on Sunday, April 13, Tatiana expressed her delight, writing: “March might just have been the best month of my life. We’ve been in the country for a month, Auberon (Albie) has been really wonderful to look after. His big sister has adored being outside all day every day and is slowly getting used to him.
“We’ve played, rested, nourished, slept a little, loved a lot and enjoyed every minute of the glorious spring weather. Now it’s time to head back to London, to return to normal - or discover what our new normal looks like, and slowly find our stride again. Unbelievably grateful.”
The heartwarming images shared included a touching picture of Lady Tatiana embracing both her children, and another particularly sweet one capturing tiny Auberon grasping his mother’s finger, as reported by the Express.
The collection of images also featured their young child playing in the garden, picking daisies, and being lifted onto Alick’s shoulders. It is now believed that the family has returned to London.
Tatiana’s followers flooded the comments section to express their happiness at the news. One wrote: “Oh my goodness, my heart is absolutely exploding for you!” Another commented: “Oh, this is so special. That last photo is just magical Tatty. So, so happy for you and your growing family!” A third playfully remarked: “Just fabulous. When are you buying the first pony?!”
This delightful announcement comes just months after Buckingham Palace revealed Princess Beatrice had given birth to her second child, named Athena. The statement from Buckingham Palace disclosed the baby’s full name as Athena Elizabeth Rose Mapelli Mozzi, born on 22 January at 12.57 pm at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital in London.
Athena arrived several weeks prematurely, weighing 4lb 5oz, but is reported to be healthy and thriving. As the grandchild of Prince Andrew, the Duke of York, and Sarah, the Duchess of York, she now stands as 11th in line to the throne.
