Richard Madeley’s Diet Adjustments for GMB Role

Television presenter Richard Madeley has made changes to his morning routine to cope with the demands of his early schedule on ITV’s Good Morning Britain. Madeley, 68, revealed that due to his 4am alarm, he consumes glucose tablets and a small sandwich to maintain his energy levels during the show. Concerned about fainting live on air, he adjusted his diet to include carbohydrates before the show’s final briefing. Madeley also struggles with post-show hunger, finding it difficult to resist snacking after returning home. He highlighted his unhealthy habits in the past, including smoking 60 cigarettes a day in his 20s, but has since made significant changes to his lifestyle.
