Residents Angry Over Messy Work by Severn Trent Contractors in Cheltenham

Residents of Cheltenham are expressing frustration and anger over the messy work carried out by sub-contractors from Severn Trent. The workers were called in to install flow meters in various locations, but their efforts have resulted in splattered cars, stained bollards, and dirty handprints on homes and fences. Colin Hay, a concerned area resident and County Councillor, criticized the sub-par work and the larger mess created in the attempt to rectify it. Severn Trent has acknowledged the complaint and is investigating the issue, offering apologies to affected residents and assuring them that efforts are underway to address the situation.

Cllr Hay is a candidate in the upcoming County Council elections, with other candidates including Conservative Georgina Bass, Reform UK’s Maureen Dodwell, Labour’s Diana Hale, and the Green Party’s Naomi Ruth Seadon.
