The wife of Graham Smith, a “proud and devoted dad,” has paid tribute to his warmth, humor, and loyalty following his death in a Cheltenham hotel. Graham, 42, was found dead in a room at the Queens Hotel on June 11. Born in Preston, he was a beloved father of two sons, Corey and Olly.
In an emotional online tribute, Graham’s wife shared heartfelt memories along with photographs of him with their children. She described him as a multi-talented individual—a skilled goalkeeper, an exceptional cook, an avid hiker and golfer, and a self-proclaimed General Knowledge World Champion. His playful spirit was evident in his reputation as a master of teasing and his fondness for wearing Crocs in unexpected places.
“He was a man who was always factually correct… according to Graham,” she wrote, highlighting his sharp wit, kindness, and unwavering loyalty that touched everyone who knew him.
