However, Prince Harry’s intention to bring them to the UK was abandoned after he was denied police protection during his stay, as reported by The Telegraph. The decision came after days of uncertainty, with Harry concluding that it would not be safe for his wife and children to visit at this time.
While the Duke will begin his visit in London, he is also scheduled to travel to Birmingham, where the Invictus Games will be held next year. There remains a possibility that Meghan and their children might join him later in the week in Birmingham, where the Duchess was initially expected to attend an engagement related to the Games. This part of the visit could proceed as planned, though details are still unconfirmed.
