Traffic along the M4 motorway has been severely impacted. Congestion is reported in both directions between Junction 41 (A48 Pentyla-Baglan Road) and Junction 40 (A4107 Tanygroes Street), with officials attributing delays to smoke drifting across the carriageway. Motorists are advised to proceed with caution and anticipate delays.
Public safety remains the top priority as emergency units continue working diligently to contain the blaze. Authorities have requested the public avoid the affected area to allow unhindered access for emergency crews and ensure effective management of the incident.
