Police seek victim punched outside Gloucester bar to come forward

Gloucestershire Police are appealing for the victim of an assault outside Butlers Venue Bar in Gloucester to come forward. The man was reportedly punched in the face and knocked unconscious in the early hours of Sunday, May 10.

According to police, Night Safe Officers attended the scene and cared for the victim until emergency services arrived. However, the man regained consciousness and left before paramedics could treat him.

A Gloucester man in his 40s was arrested in connection with the incident but has since been released on bail as investigations continue. Police are now seeking to identify and speak with the victim, who is believed to be named Ben.
