Police Seek Public Help After Safe Stolen from Luxury Cotswolds Hotel

Gloucestershire Constabulary is appealing for information to identify two men involved in the theft of a safe from the exclusive Hatton Court Hotel in Upton St Leonards, near Gloucester.

The incident occurred in the early hours of Tuesday, 18 November 2025, between 2:15 am and 2:35 am. According to police, the suspects entered the hotel, rifled through drawers, and removed a safe before fleeing the scene in a blue BMW.

The stolen safe was later discovered opened and abandoned in a nearby field. Despite extensive inquiries, officers have yet to identify the men pictured, who are believed to be linked to the burglary.

A Gloucestershire Constabulary spokesperson said: “We are asking the public for assistance in identifying these individuals to help with our ongoing investigation.”

Witnesses or anyone with information are urged to report online using incident number 146 of 18 November 2025, or to provide anonymous tips through Crimestoppers at 0800 555 111.

The Hatton Court Hotel is a well-regarded boutique venue in the Cotswolds, offering accommodation, dining, and wedding services. Both suspects were wearing black clothing; one with a black cap and the other a black beanie.
