Avon and Somerset Police have issued an update after several arrests were made on the M5 motorway in Gloucestershire earlier this week.
The incident occurred around 8:25 a.m. on Saturday, February 21, near the A38 close to Bristol Airport, where two men were seriously assaulted following a collision. Thankfully, the victims’ injuries were not life-threatening or permanently damaging, and both have since been discharged from hospital.
As of Tuesday, February 24, five individuals have been charged in relation to the assault. Each faces five offenses and appeared before North Somerset Magistrates' Court on Monday, February 23. They have been remanded into custody pending their next hearing at Bristol Crown Court scheduled for Monday, March 23.

A sixth person—a 40-year-old man—was also arrested but has been released under investigation as inquiries continue.
