Gloucestershire Police have issued a warning to car owners after a grey Nissan Qashqai was reported stolen in Berkeley, alongside several reports of vehicle doors being tampered with.
The theft occurred between 10:30am on Tuesday, 1 September, and 5:40am on Wednesday, 2 September, outside a property in the Berrycroft area. In addition to the stolen vehicle, there have been local reports of a man and woman behaving suspiciously, attempting car door handles and stealing items from vehicles in the vicinity.
Investigating officers are appealing to residents who witnessed the stolen Nissan Qashqai during the specified times or who observed any suspicious behaviour in the area on that day to come forward. Anyone with relevant CCTV or dashcam footage is also encouraged to share it with the police.
