In a dramatic turn of events, a car fire in Gloucestershire was swiftly tackled by police officers using fire extinguishers in Cirencester. The incident, which occurred at approximately 1:30 pm on Wednesday, saw the Cotswolds Neighbourhood Policing Team responding to reports of a vehicle engulfed in flames on Dyer Street.
Upon arrival, the police found the car ablaze and promptly took action to bring the fire under control. Utilizing extinguishers from their own vehicles, the officers managed to initially contain the blaze. Local businesses also stepped in, offering additional extinguishers to further assist in quelling the fire.
Following these efforts, the Gloucestershire Fire and Rescue team proceeded to fully extinguish the fire once it was brought under control. Fortunately, there were no reported injuries resulting from the incident.
