The Gloucestershire Constabulary has reported the discovery of a body in the Forest of Dean. It was found in Drybrook by a member of the public on Sunday, April 20. Although formal identification is pending, the family of 19-year-old Sam, reported missing from Mitcheldean, has been notified.
According to a police spokesperson, the circumstances surrounding the death are not viewed as suspicious, and preparations are underway to present a file to the coroner. The police had issued an appeal for help in finding Sam in the early hours of Sunday, and have expressed gratitude for the assistance received in the search effort.
