West Mercia Police are appealing for witnesses following a fatal collision involving three vehicles on the C1125 road between Hereford and Sutton St Nicholas. The accident occurred at approximately 5:30 pm on Saturday, November 8.
A man in his 80s, driving a grey Volkswagen Polo, tragically died at the scene. The other vehicles involved were a black BMW 1 Series and a grey Mazda 6. A 20-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and remains in police custody.
Authorities have specifically called upon the driver of a Tesla, who may hold crucial information about the moments leading up to the crash. Police are also requesting any witnesses or individuals with dashcam footage of the incident or the vehicles involved before the collision to come forward.

A police spokesperson stated, “We urge anyone who saw the collision or who has dashcam footage showing the vehicles involved—particularly the Tesla driver who was near the grey VW Polo shortly before the crash—to contact us.”
