The annual Gloucester Quays Food Festival has revealed an exciting line-up of celebrity chefs set to delight food lovers this July. This free, two-day event promises something for everyone, featuring more than 160 stalls, family-friendly activities, and live entertainment.
Taking place on Saturday, July 19, and Sunday, July 20, the festival will showcase live cookery demonstrations from renowned chefs such as Phil Vickery, Matt Tebutt, and Great British Bake Off 2024 winner Georgie Grasso. These culinary stars will share their expertise in the open-air Cookery Theatre at Mariners Square, hosted by chef and TV presenter Chris Bavin.
Beyond the cooking sessions, attendees can explore a vibrant market offering local produce, artisan crafts, and a diverse street-food selection including vegan, vegetarian, and international flavors. Several pop-up bars will be serving craft beers, cocktails, Pimm’s, and prosecco, enhancing the festive atmosphere.

Music lovers can enjoy live performances throughout the weekend in Orchard Square, creating the perfect soundtrack for a day of culinary discovery. All demonstrations and events are free to attend, with seats available on a first-come, first-served basis—so arriving early is highly recommended.
For those looking to dine in style, the Quays boasts a variety of waterside restaurants and bars, including Bill’s, Brewhouse & Kitchen, Portivo Lounge, and Coal Kitchen, each offering unique dishes fresh from the kitchen.
Festival hours are as follows: on Saturday, street food stalls and pop-up bars will operate from 10am to 7pm, with outlet stores open from 10am to 6pm. On Sunday, food stalls, bars, and shops will be open from 10am to 5pm.
