Persistent Cannabis Odor Disrupts Lives in Four Streets of Stonehouse

Residents in four streets of Stonehouse, Gloucestershire, are experiencing ongoing disturbances due to persistent cannabis use in their neighbourhood. The strong smell and related activities associated with cannabis consumption are negatively affecting the quality of life for those living nearby.

Gloucestershire police have acknowledged the problem in the Great Oldbury area and identified Thomas Tudor Way, Mangotstone Way, Rowbotham Way, and Francis Winfield Close as hotspots for cannabis use. Authorities are appealing to the community for information to help address the issue more effectively.

On July 16, the police shared these concerns on the Your Community Alerts Gloucestershire platform, encouraging residents to report any details about cannabis smoking in these areas. The police emphasise that even small pieces of information can aid in building a clearer understanding of the situation and inform appropriate action.
