A man in his 60s sustained serious injuries after being struck by a yellow Hyundai on the A38 at Whitminster, Gloucestershire, yesterday evening (Saturday, January 24). The collision occurred around 6:45 pm, prompting an immediate response from emergency services.
The injured pedestrian was quickly transported to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital, where he remains under medical care. Authorities had temporarily closed sections of the road to manage the incident, but these closures were lifted last night.
