A man in his 60s sustained serious injuries after being hit by a yellow Hyundai on the A38 in Whitminster, Gloucestershire, yesterday evening (Saturday, January 24).
Emergency services were called to the scene at approximately 6:45 pm following the collision. The pedestrian was promptly transported to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital, where he remains in serious condition.
Authorities temporarily closed the road to manage the incident but have since reopened it as of last night. Gloucestershire Police are now seeking witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage of the crash to assist with their investigation.

A spokesperson from Gloucestershire Police stated: “We are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision on the A38 Bristol Road or who has relevant dashcam footage to come forward. Your information could be vital to our ongoing inquiry.”
