Parents at schools in the Cotswolds have reportedly been sent letters concerning the arrival of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s children. According to a royal commentator, local families have been notified about strict guidelines intended to protect the privacy and wellbeing of the young royals, Prince Archie, seven, and Princess Lilibet.
The Sussex family recently relocated from the United States to the United Kingdom and is believed to be living in a private residence within the Cotswolds, away from royal estates. Royal expert Kinsey Schofield disclosed that educational authorities have contacted area residents regarding updated school policies designed to manage pupils who may attract heightened public and media attention.
Speaking to US publication Page Six, Schofield said, “The message sent to families essentially said that, from time to time, some families joining the school may attract a greater level of public or media interest.”

The communication reportedly stressed the schools' commitment to providing all pupils with a safe, happy, and private educational environment. Parents and carers were reminded not to photograph or film other children without consent or to share images or information about pupils and their families on social media.
Schofield also noted that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex had approached several schools prior to moving to the area. Since stepping back from royal duties in 2020, Harry and Meghan lived in Montecito, California. Their return to the UK is expected to be for an extended period.
