Pair Arrested After Altercation and Car Crash in Gloucester

Police in Gloucestershire have arrested two individuals following an incident involving an altercation and a vehicle crash on Saturday night in Gloucester. Officers responded to reports of a disturbance outside a property on Colwell Avenue, Hucclecote, at approximately 11:30 pm.

According to Gloucestershire Constabulary, after the initial dispute, a car was observed speeding away towards Zoons Road, where it subsequently collided with a parked vehicle. Shortly thereafter, two additional groups arrived at the scene, and a further argument ensued. However, all parties involved had left the area by the time police arrived.

Investigators have been conducting door-to-door inquiries and reviewing CCTV and ring doorbell footage to gather more information. A man in his 30s from Bishop’s Cleeve was arrested on suspicion of affray, while a woman in her 30s from Cheltenham was taken into custody on suspicion of aggravated burglary. Both remain in police custody as inquiries continue.
