A wave of heartfelt tributes has overwhelmed the community following the untimely death of Harrison Aylott, a Year 11 pupil at The Cotswolds School in Gloucestershire.
The tragic news was confirmed by the school on Tuesday, June 8, after learning of the passing of Harrison, who joined the school in January and quickly became known for his warm and positive nature. School officials described him as a bright presence who had “brightened our school” during his time there.
The sadness is shared beyond the school community. Stow on the Wold Rugby Club, where Harrison was a former member of the Under-16s squad, released a heartfelt tribute. The club said, “The loss of a young life is heart-breaking, and we stand together as a club and rugby community to support one another through this incredibly difficult period.”
