Directly addressing her followers, Amanda explained, “The weather has taken a turn for the worst, it is now snowing and it is so cold. I say it’s cold but it is warmer than it was but it’s just snowing before it was just icy but now it’s wet snow.”

She added, “No sign of Blindie Eye, but I’m sure she is fine. I just need this weather to calm down so she can come out of where she is hiding. I’m sure she is sheltering under the wind somewhere. I just wanted to treat her, but anyway, I can only do my best.”
Amanda also candidly shared her feelings about the demands of farm life during winter: “I am so far behind with EVERYTHING! Seriously cold conditions, little in the way of snow but temperatures well below zero and a wind chill that takes your breath away.”
She described spotting a sheep she feared had impaired vision, which was moving quickly in the opposite direction days earlier but remains missing. “Not a game that I’m particularly fond of when the weather turns,” she said about her ongoing search.
