Amanda Owen, beloved farmer and TV personality from the popular show Our Yorkshire Farm, has delighted fans with the announcement of her newest creative venture: a children’s book inspired by her life on the farm.
Known affectionately as “The Yorkshire Shepherdess,” Amanda first gained nationwide admiration through her social media presence and Channel 5 series featuring her family and farming lifestyle. Over the years, she has established herself as an accomplished author with five books, starting with 2015’s The Yorkshire Shepherdess and most recently Celebrating The Seasons in 2021.
Now, Amanda is expanding her storytelling to young readers with her debut children’s book titled Christmas Tales From The Farm. Set for publication on September 11th by Puffin, this collection of festive, heartwarming stories brings to life memories from her farm, capturing the magic of animals, nature, and countryside festivities. The book is beautifully illustrated by Becca Hall, adding charm to each story.

Sharing the news on Instagram, Amanda said, “We’re done lambing now, finished for this year, so I wanted to share with you news of the latest addition to the farm. No, not another woolly bundle of joy. It is… my new children’s book!” She encouraged fans to preorder the hardback edition, perfect for gifting this Christmas.
The announcement quickly drew enthusiastic responses from followers, many eager to claim their copies. Fans praised Amanda’s creativity and dedication, with one commenting, “How wonderful.
