Amanda Owen, renowned from the hit shows Our Yorkshire Farm and Our Farm Next Door, shared a touching tribute to her eldest daughter Raven after her recent graduation. The star expressed a deep sense of “overwhelming pride and love” as she reflected on Raven’s achievements, notably recalling a moment when her daughter managed to start a faulty car without jump leads — a testament to the practical skills they value at Ravenseat Farm in the Yorkshire Dales.
Raven, 24, earned her Biomedical Science degree from York St John’s University in 2022. Amanda posted several photos from the graduation ceremony on Instagram, including one proudly displaying Raven’s qualification certificate.
“For Raven,” Amanda wrote, recalling the pride she felt that day. “You had managed to get your neighbour’s car started using just a couple of spanners after disconnecting the car battery—no jump leads needed. The overwhelming pride and love I had for you that day was immense.” She added the hashtags #skills and #lifeskills, highlighting the importance of practical knowledge alongside academic success.
