Noel Edmonds Shops at Cotswolds Skate Store, Buys Shoes and T-Shirt

TV icon Noel Edmonds was recently spotted enjoying a casual shopping trip in the Cotswolds with his wife, Liz Davies. The former host of popular shows like Deal or No Deal and Multi-Coloured Swap Shop made a surprise visit to Decimal skate shop in Cirencester on Friday, May 16.

Owner Gaz Parsons recalls the moment with amusement. While standing outside the shop with a neighboring business owner, a woman mistook Edmonds for entrepreneur Richard Branson when he walked by. “She said to him, ‘You look oddly famous. Are you Richard Branson?’” Parsons recounted with a smile.

Despite the mix-up, Edmonds was described as friendly and down-to-earth during his visit. Parsons fitted him for a pair of Lost Hearts shoes, size eight and a half, which Edmonds promptly purchased along with a T-shirt. When Parsons mentioned another shoe style was not in stock, Edmonds declined to leave his number, chuckling at the suggestion.

Decimal skate shop has seen its share of celebrity visitors over time, including comedian Dom Joly, TV host Anne Robinson, actor Andrew Lincoln, and EastEnders star Sid Owen. Edmonds, who now resides in New Zealand and is reportedly filming a new series, left a positive impression on the local shop owner with his genuine and approachable manner.
