Noel Edmonds Opens Up About New Life Challenges in New Zealand

Noel Edmonds, famed broadcaster and former host of “Deal or No Deal,” left the UK in 2018 to begin a new chapter in New Zealand alongside his wife, Liz. Their journey took them 11,500 miles to the peaceful town of Ngatimoti, where they invested in a hospitality enterprise that has become a community hub, featuring a vineyard, coffee cart, general store, and a popular restaurant and pub now entering its second full season.

Driven by his innovative spirit, Noel is also working on creating New Zealand’s first energy garden—a bold project that reflects his commitment to sustainability and community development. Yet, this new venture, along with his growing business, faces significant challenges including unpredictable weather, critical press, and the personal difficulties of adjusting as newcomers in a foreign land.

In a recent ITV trailer, Noel candidly acknowledged the hurdles ahead: “It’s not the easiest place to come to, it’s not the easiest place to set up a business.” His story resonates with anyone navigating change and entrepreneurship far from home.

Adding a touch of his characteristic humor, Noel recently appeared on the Isle of Man wearing mismatched shoes, dancing beside a statue of the Bee Gees—friends and musical icons he has interviewed many times over his career. Whether on screen or off, Noah continues to charm with his unique style and enduring zest for life.

“Noel Edmonds’ Kiwi Adventure” airs on ITV1 and ITVX starting Friday, June 20, at 9 pm, giving viewers an intimate glimpse into his life and pursuits in New Zealand.
