Noel Edmonds has made a striking return to British television with his new ITV prime-time series, Noel Edmonds' Kiwi Adventure. The show follows the beloved former radio host and Saturday night TV legend as he embraces a radically different life in New Zealand after stepping away from his UK career in 2018.
Accompanied by his wife, Liz, Noel relocated to the quaint rural area of Ngatimoti where they purchased land two years prior. Since then, they have cultivated a bustling hospitality business featuring a vineyard, coffee stand, traditional store, and a cozy restaurant and pub – all central to the local community. Their ambitious vision even includes plans to establish New Zealand’s first energy garden.
But the series goes beyond his business ventures; it explores how Edmonds maintains his remarkably youthful appearance at the age of 76. His wellness routine is a unique blend of ‘tranquil power’ weight training, invigorating cold showers, infrared saunas, meditation, time in oxygen chambers, and a penchant for crystal beds.

“I’m rocking. I am rocking!” Edmonds enthusiastically declared about his health practices, as reported by Belfast Live.
As the show debuted on Friday, June 20, social media buzzed with fan reactions – many astonished by his youthful looks and the show’s unusual vibe. Some speculated whether the programme was a mockumentary, with comments such as, “This is a mockumentary isn’t it? #noeledmonds,” while others compared him to quirky characters like Alan Partridge.
Critics weren’t shy either, with remarks ranging from “constant innuendo is bloody woeful” to disbelief over his crystal sunbed and fitness regime. One viewer admitted, “This has got to be a windup from Noel Edmonds, I nearly bought it until I saw the crystals sunbed.”
Still, fans of Edmonds rejoiced at his return, celebrating the show’s unique charm. “Just binged on the 3 episodes of Noel Edmonds in New Zealand. The guy is a hoot. Great TV. Quite a surprise,” one wrote, while another proclaimed, “Don’t care what you say, I love Noel Edmonds!”
Ahead of the premiere, Edmonds addressed potential comparisons to Jeremy Clarkson’s Amazon Prime series Clarkson’s Farm. He emphasized the differences, saying, “It couldn’t be more different. First of all, I’m not like Jeremy in many ways, though I wish I were.”
He praised Clarkson’s show for its high production values, its portrayal of the frustrations with public officials, and the genuine depiction of farming challenges — all things Edmonds respects deeply due to his own farming experience in Devon since the 1980s.
Noel Edmonds' Kiwi Adventure streams on ITVX and airs on ITV1 Fridays, offering a heartfelt and sometimes quirky look at Edmonds' evolving life and enduring charisma.
