Noel Edmonds Emphasizes His New TV Show Is ‘Nothing Like’ Jeremy Clarkson’s Series

Noel Edmonds has clarified that his new ITV series, Noel Edmonds’ Kiwi Adventure, stands apart from Jeremy Clarkson’s acclaimed Amazon Prime show, Clarkson’s Farm. While Clarkson’s Farm has won widespread praise for documenting Jeremy Clarkson’s challenges running Diddly Squat Farm in Oxfordshire alongside farmhand Kaleb Cooper since 2021, Edmonds’ upcoming venture tells a very different story.

Following his relocation to New Zealand with his wife in 2018, Noel Edmonds is embarking on a new chapter showcased in his ITV programme. The series will capture their efforts developing a hospitality business on their property near Ngatimoti on New Zealand’s South Island. Their enterprise includes a vineyard, coffee cart, general store, restaurant, and pub, all featured as they prepare to welcome guests for a second season.

Addressing comparisons to Clarkson’s Farm in a recent interview with The Sun, Noel was quick to dismiss any notion that his show is similar. “When we were filming, some people asked if it was like Clarkson’s Farm,” Edmonds said. “I told them it couldn’t be more different. I’m not like Jeremy in many ways, though I admire him greatly. He’s brilliant at articulating arguments with wit and humor.”

Edmonds praised aspects of Clarkson’s Farm, including its exceptional production quality and the challenges Clarkson faces dealing with local councils and farming life. However, he emphasized that his own programme goes beyond farming, offering a unique perspective on life after leaving the UK and embracing a new lifestyle in New Zealand.

Reflecting on his enduring career, the former Deal Or No Deal host joked, “People still ask, ‘Noel Edmonds? Didn’t he die? Is he still around?’ Yes, I’m still here—living life to the full.”

While Clarkson’s Farm is available to stream on Amazon Prime Video, Noel Edmonds’ Kiwi Adventure will soon debut on ITV, promising viewers a fresh and distinct take on rural life and hospitality.
