Cheltenham Town has confirmed the departure of nine players this summer as part of their retained list announcement. Jordan Thomas, Luke Young, and Arkell Jude-Boyd are among those set to leave the club.
Additional players departing upon contract expiry include Tommy Backwell, Scot Bennett, George Harmon, Tom King, Josh Martin, and Cameron Walters.
In positive news for the Robins, key midfielder Ben Stevenson has signed a new deal following an impressive first season under manager Steve Cotterill. Furthermore, contracts have been extended for Jonathan Tomkinson and George Nurse after the club activated their contract options.

Players Jake Bickerstaff, Joe Day, Mamadou Diallo, and Sopuruchukwu Obieri remain under contract beyond the summer period.
Meanwhile, Cheltenham’s six loanees—Harry Ashfield (Wrexham), Josh Davison (Tranmere Rovers), Cole Deeming (West Bromwich Albion), Mo Faal (Wrexham), Isaac Hutchinson (Bristol Rovers), and Sam Sherring (MK Dons)—have all returned to their respective parent clubs.
