New Roots + Seeds Café and Kitchen at Gloucester Food Dock

A new café, Roots + Seeds Café and Kitchen, is set to open at Gloucester Food Dock, adding a fresh lunch selection to the area. The independent eatery, created by co-owners and school friends Toby and Sam, will feature a menu highlighting local and seasonal produce from Gloucestershire. Offering field-to-fork breakfast, brunch, and lunch options, the café is expected to open its doors on Tuesday, April 8th, joining the community of like-minded food businesses at the Food Dock.

Roots + Seeds Café and Kitchen plans to deliver a diverse experience, from light bites and ‘grab and go’ takeaway options made to order in the Kitchen, to hearty mains, including dishes such as Beer Battered Fish and Chips, the Roots + Seeds Cheeseburger with Skin on Fries, and their famous Sticky Toffee Pudding. Additionally, the café will feature a regularly changing Specials Board, showcasing dishes dictated by the seasons, with the current highlight being Lamb Braised Shoulder and Wild Garlic Gnocchi, perfect for the spring season.

Bolstering their commitment to local ingredients, Roots + Seeds Café will utilize suppliers within a 25-mile radius and source from their own Kitchen Garden, solidifying their dedication to fresh and regional produce.
