New Multi-Storey Car Park Opens in Gloucester City Centre with Competitive Parking Rates

Gloucester city centre will welcome a brand-new multi-storey car park next month as Q-Park prepares to open its latest facility at The Forum on Station Road. The car park officially opens on Monday, December 22, providing a timely option for those planning last-minute Christmas shopping.

Featuring 398 spaces, the barriered car park operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and offers convenient online pre-booking options. This addition complements the ongoing regeneration of the Kings Quarter development, which includes the University of Gloucestershire’s new City Campus and the upcoming Hotel Indigo, set to open in February 2026.

  • Up to 1 hour: £1.50
  • Up to 2 hours: £2.50
  • Up to 3 hours: £4.00
  • Up to 4 hours: £5.00
  • Up to 6 hours: £6.00
  • Up to 12 hours: £7.00
  • Up to 24 hours: £8.50

The car park boasts modern amenities including CCTV surveillance, electric vehicle charging points, a lift, and designated spaces for people with disabilities.

When compared to other local car parks, Q-Park The Forum offers competitive pricing. Kings Walk Car Park and Eastgate Shopping Centre charge £1.50 for the first hour but increase to £2.60 for two hours and up to £8.40 for a full day. Gloucester Quays car park pricing ranges from £3 for two hours to £15 for 24 hours, with lower rates available for evening parking.
