After a highly successful debut in 2024, New Heights Festival in Newent is returning this summer—and it’s bigger than ever. Due to popular demand, the originally one-day event has now been extended to two days, packed with live music, delicious food, and activities for the whole family.
Founded by six passionate friends, the festival has quickly become a highlight in Gloucestershire’s summer calendar. Last year’s lineup featured live bands, a silent disco, a well-stocked bar, and a variety of quality street food vendors. This year, the organisers are taking things to the next level by adding an extra day and introducing on-site camping, giving attendees the perfect opportunity to immerse themselves in the full festival experience.
Scheduled for Friday, July 18, and Saturday, July 19, New Heights Festival will open at 4 pm and run until midnight on Friday, and from midday to midnight on Saturday. Festival organiser Paul Mason, 36, expressed his enthusiasm:

“We’re thrilled to bring New Heights back for 2025, building on the incredible feedback from our first event. Even with last year’s unpredictable weather, the turnout exceeded our expectations. This year, we’ve listened closely to our festivalgoers and made improvements, including expanding the event to two full days and adding camping facilities.”
Highlights include a vibrant DJ Tent on Saturday hosting a diverse range of genres to keep energy levels high, plus the ever-popular silent disco returning for Saturday evening. Alongside the music, attendees can enjoy a broad array of food stalls, family-friendly activities, and various vendor stalls.
To make the festival more accessible, a shuttle bus service will run from Newent Town for just £6 return, simplifying travel for visitors. Additionally, new discount tiers and a Family Package have been introduced to offer more affordable ticket options. While the early bird phases have closed, General Sale tickets are now available at newheightsfestival.co.uk.
The organisers are also encouraging local community participation. Whether interested in volunteering, running a stall, or simply connecting, locals can get in touch via [email protected].
Pull your friends, family, and neighbours together and get ready for two days of great music, tasty food, and fantastic vibes at New Heights Festival 2025.
