Tonight’s National Lottery Lotto draw offers players an incredible £3.4 million jackpot to be won. In a recent update, the National Lottery introduced a new format for the Lotto draws, aiming to increase excitement and the number of winners.
Each Wednesday and Saturday Lotto draw now consists of two rounds. This change means that for every line of numbers played, participants get two chances to win at the same cost. The National Lottery anticipates that this will lead to more than double the number of millionaires compared to previous formats.
A player matching all six numbers in either round will win the jackpot, which is now shared across both rounds. This structure increases the chances of winning, although it also means the jackpot may be shared among more winners.

The National Lottery emphasises that these changes are designed to create more winners and millionaires than before.
