Alice Nash, a mum from Wiltshire, was left utterly amazed after purchasing a mystery food bag from Greggs through the Too Good To Go app. Known for offering discounted food bundles that help reduce waste, the app became Alice’s gateway to a surprising haul valued at £33 — all for just £3.15.
A newcomer to Too Good To Go, Alice didn’t expect such a generous assortment from Greggs, a bakery chain beloved across the UK. Her mystery bag contained an impressive 14 items, blending sweet and savory treats that exceeded all expectations. The collection featured three custard slices, a Margherita pizza slice, a box of two Yum Yums, a Chelsea bun, a Southern fried chicken baguette, a cheese and ham toastie, a tuna cucumber sandwich, a cheese Ploughman’s roll, a steak bake, a veggie bake, a cheese, beans and sausage bake, and a BLT sandwich.
Alice shared her excitement on social media, revealing the variety and quantity far surpassed what she or her partner Kyle imagined when they placed their order. “It was our first time ordering a Greggs bag, and we expected maybe a sandwich and a bake,” she said. “But what we got felt like a whole feast.”

Her TikTok video showcasing the bounty quickly went viral, sparking both envy and disbelief among viewers. Many expressed astonishment at how much food was packed into a single bag, with one commenter questioning, “There is not supposed to be that much,” and another suspecting multiple bags were involved.
The family quickly dug in: Alice enjoyed the tuna cucumber sandwich, her daughter opted for the cheese and ham toastie, and Kyle devoured a sandwich alongside a bake. The remaining goodies were shared over the next two days, even brightening the day of Alice’s father when Kyle brought him some lunch at work.
Alice emphasized the joy her family finds in these surprise bags. “My daughter loves the surprise element, and we always make sure to order from places we like and will use the food from,” she said. “Nothing went to waste, and we finished it all within two days. It honestly felt like winning the Too Good To Go lottery.”
Having struck gold on their first Greggs mystery bag, Alice and her family are already looking forward to their next order — though they admit it will be tough to beat this extraordinary haul.
