A serious two-vehicle collision has resulted in multiple road closures in the Forest of Dean earlier today, Tuesday, December 30. Emergency services responded to the crash on Whitehall Lane in Rudford at approximately 5:20 pm.
To ensure safety and facilitate emergency response efforts, several key roads have been closed, including sections of the B4215 from Newent to the A40 at Highnam, as well as junctions at Gloucester Street, Tibberton, and Lassington Lane.
Motorists are advised to avoid this area and seek alternative routes, as these closures are expected to remain in place for several hours. Police are also appealing for witnesses to come forward to assist with their investigation.

A spokesperson for Gloucestershire Police stated: “We have closed part of the B4215 in the Forest of Dean following a serious crash involving two vehicles on Whitehall Lane, Rudford. The closures span from Newent to Highnam, including important junctions along the B4215. We ask drivers to plan ahead and avoid the area where possible. Anyone who witnessed the collision and has not yet spoken to police is urged to submit information via our online form, quoting incident 319 of 30 December.”
