A man in his 40s from the Cotswolds has tragically died following a collision on the A429 Fosseway near Northleach. The incident occurred at approximately 4:40pm on Wednesday, 12 August, close to The Old Prison.
Emergency services responded to reports of the crash involving a green-and-black Kawasaki ZX900 motorcycle, a white Scania tipper lorry, and a grey Nissan Juke. Despite immediate treatment by paramedics at the scene, the motorcyclist succumbed to his injuries.
Specially trained officers have been supporting the deceased’s family following the incident.

The A429, between the Northleach Roundabout and the Old Prison Crossroads, was temporarily closed to allow for a thorough collision investigation but has since reopened.
Police are urging anyone who witnessed the crash or has relevant dashcam footage to come forward.
