Morrisons Urges Shoppers to Act Fast on 14-Day 10% Discount Offer

Morrisons has alerted its shoppers to check their accounts urgently as a limited-time 10% discount offer ends in just 14 days. Through its More loyalty scheme, select customers have the chance to earn a generous reward by spending £250 before the end of June.

Eligible participants need only scan their More Card at checkout for every in-store visit or ensure their card is linked to their online Morrisons account. Purchases are tracked automatically and can be monitored via the Morrisons More app, website, or receipts.

Importantly, shoppers can build up their total over multiple smaller transactions rather than one single purchase. “You can shop as little and as often as you like to build up your total, including both in-store and online transactions, provided you scan your Morrisons More card each time,” the retailer explained.

Online orders count toward the target, though it may take up to 72 hours after delivery for those amounts to be added. However, this promotion is exclusive to selected customers, who can check their eligibility by visiting the Morrisons More app or website homepage.

Once the £250 threshold is reached, shoppers will receive a voucher equal to 10% of their total spend. This reward will appear in the ‘My Offers’ section of their account within 72 hours of qualifying and must be activated before use.

Alongside this rewarding initiative, Morrisons is also pioneering new technology with the introduction of AI-powered shopping trolleys at its Riversway store in Preston. These innovative carts, known as Caper Carts, come equipped with touchscreens, cameras, sensors, and built-in scales that identify products as they are added. They allow customers to weigh fresh produce, track their spending in real time, and access personalised deals via connection to their Morrisons More account.

While AI shopping carts are familiar in some major US retailers, Morrisons is the first in the UK to trial this cutting-edge shopping experience, reflecting its commitment to enhancing convenience and value for customers.
