More Celebrity Chefs Join Gloucester Quays Food Festival Lineup

The Gloucester Quays Food Festival is gearing up for a spectacular weekend on July 19 and 20, with an exciting announcement that more TV celebrity chefs are joining the star-studded lineup. Renowned as the biggest and best food festival in the South-West, this free, two-day event promises a delicious celebration of local produce, vibrant street food, and captivating cooking demonstrations.

Already confirmed chefs include Phil Vickery from ITV’s This Morning, Cyrus Todiwala of BBC One’s Saturday Kitchen, and Georgie Grasso, winner of The Great British Bake Off 2024. Adding to this impressive roster are the Lumberjaxe brothers, Brendon and Jaydon, known for their acclaimed BBQ seasonings and sauces and stars from BBC One’s Dragon’s Den.

Lumberjaxe, founded in 2020, grew from the brothers’ passion for authentic BBQ inspired by family traditions around their grandfather’s brick-built grill. After honing their craft through the challenges of the pandemic, Brendon and Jaydon have built a brand celebrated for bold flavors and quality, aiming to bring the spirit of outdoor BBQ right to dining tables everywhere. Their festival appearances will include fiery BBQ demos with tips and tastings, as well as a special session on Sunday in the Cookery Theatre.

Visitors can enjoy the festival without the need for tickets; however, places in the Cookery Theatre and chef sessions are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis—arriving early is highly recommended. Alongside the celebrity cooking, a variety of stalls will showcase local food and drink, while popular waterfront venues such as Bill’s, Brewhouse & Kitchen, Portivo Lounge, and Coal Kitchen offer freshly prepared dishes and drinks.

Festival Hours:

  • Saturday, July 19: Street-food stalls and pop-up bars open 10am–7pm; Quays outlet stores open 10am–6pm.
  • Sunday, July 20: Street-food stalls, bars, and outlet stores open 10am–5pm.

Don’t miss this vibrant weekend dedicated to great food, cooking inspiration, and community spirit at Gloucester Quays.
